We are offering more categories for prizes this year so…. be creative, there is a team prize for the most original name, the largest number of participants, the most money raised and turned in by June 5th the best team page, and the person that wears the oldest walk t-shirt to event .

New Team Spirit Award 

This year we have added a very special award to be given to the Walk by the Sea team that displays the most team spirit.  The award is in memory of our dear friend, Eldon R. Munson, III. Eldon was a strong supporter of the Walk. You may have met him if you happened to stop at the Munson’s rest stop. No matter what the weather brought, Eldon and his father were out along the route handing out the water and snacks that they donated. Eldon was also a member of the Walk planning committee, contributing his time and creative ideas to improve the walk. It is because of his unsurpassed enthusiasm and dedication to this event that we have named this award The Eldon R. Munson, III ~ Team Spirit Award.
